Fourth of July Happenings

I took the kids to a little parade and carnival over at the Hooper Park on the morning of the 3rd.  Halle was all about racing out to fight for the candy, but Jack would just sit in his chair and say, "Hey Halle, go get that piece over there!"  They were most excited about getting cotton candy afterwards though, and had a hard time deciding between that and a snow cone (since Mom was too cheap to pay for both).  Later we went over to Grandpa & Grandma Anderson's for the first swimming of the season and homemade ice-cream.  On the 4th there was more of the same and even a few fireworks for the kids.  We had a fun weekend and feel so blessed to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave!
