Anyway, we were awful sad about it and took her to the dentist the day after it happened where she was sedated for the first time (SO NOT FUN), and then worked on. They gave her a crown and some braces on her bottom six teeth to stabilize the crown and get it settled. She wore the braces for about six weeks and then it was time to go back (and get sedated again) and have them removed. She was SO devastated to have to get her braces off. She wanted to be just like Daddy (see photos below). Well when they got in there, they saw that the tooth had split down to the root, so the crown ended up being a no go and they just pulled the sad little tooth. Poor Halle will now have a gap and a hard time biting apples for a few years, but she's still always full of giggles. (Except for her pre-teen eye rolling shot below where she'd had it with my picture taking.) She's such a funny girl. We just love her!
